Samarpana – Centre for Humane Services is more than a shelter home. We are a place of belonging for intellectually disabled children and adults, abandoned elders, and vulnerable families who often have nowhere else to turn.
Since 1995, we have been creating safe spaces filled with care, dignity, protection, and opportunity for individuals who are frequently neglected or misunderstood by society.
What began with one child in a rented home has today grown into a lifelong support system for many individuals who now live with security, affection, rehabilitation, and hope.
Children who once struggled without support are now learning essential life skills. Adults with intellectual disabilities are engaged in vocational activities that build confidence and independence. Senior citizens who once faced loneliness now experience companionship, care, and dignity in a loving environment.
Beyond providing food and shelter, we create emotional security, social inclusion, and opportunities for meaningful living.
